Asian Financial Forum 2016

The Asian Financial Forum (AFF) brings together some of the most influential members of the global financial and business communities each January to discuss developments and trends in the dynamic markets of Asia. Featuring more than 100 internationally respected leaders in government, finance and business, the seventh AFF, held in January 2014, attracted the record attendance of over 2,400 participants from 41 countries and regions, who came to build up contacts, gather the latest market intelligence, and explore business opportunities on the Chinese mainland and in the rest of Asia.

In addition to the AFF, the International Financial Week will also cast the spotlight on Asian private equity, fundraising, monetary and regulatory issues, alternative investment, technology and finance, financial dispute resolution and regional trends and development. High-profile conferences, seminars, networking events and visits to the Hong Kong key financial institutions will highlight this rewarding week of financial and investment intelligence, insight and networking.

SelectUSA BOOTH AT THE ASIAN FINANCIAL FORUM (AFF)

The U.S. Commercial Service team in Hong Kong is recruiting interested U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs) with concrete investment projects to participate at the 8th Asian Financial Forum on January 18-219, 2016. AFF brings together members of the global financial and business community to discuss developments and trends across markets in Asia. Participating EDOs will be hosted at the SelectUSA booth in the Global Investment Zone.

GLOBAL INVESTMENT ZONE

A dedicated showcase for investment agencies to highlight the latest investment opportunities and priority sectors worldwide, from the mature economies to those in the ASEAN, with special focus along the One Belt, One Road economies.

MATCH INVESTORS AND PROJECTS AT AFF DEAL FLOW

Jointly organised with the Hong Kong Venture Capital and Private Equity Association, the AFF Deal Flow Matchmaking Session arranges one-to-one meetings between investors and potential deals from around the world.

More than 1,000 companies have taken part in the event since its first edition, including investment project owners, private equity firms, investors, high net-worth individuals and senior professionals from intermediaries and professional service providers.
