Dubai International Humanitarian Aid & Development Conference & Exhibition – DIHAD

The Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition aims to strengthen international humanitarian development and assistance. In its 11th year under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, DIHAD shares knowledge through presentations, debate and dialogue, showcasing new trends in operational support, supply services and encourages networking among local, regional and global players.

In addition, DIHAD provides a platform where assistance providers can interact with relevant parties from both the corporate and government sectors with a view to creating meaningful synergies in support of those in need. Recognised as the leading humanitarian event in the region, DIHAD is an opportunity for over 9,000 expected visitors to meet and network with key decision makers, procurement and logistics officials from leading international, regional and local NGOs, UN agencies, government entities, and international associations.

The theme for 2015 is Opportunity, Mobility, and Sustainability with six sessions hosted on topics including disaster preparedness, logistics of relief items, and sustainable development. Two additional special sessions address the role of NGOs in today’s crisis environments.
