Intersec 2016

INTERSEC 2016 will be the 18th edition of the largest and most comprehensive international trade show for safety & security in Dubai. It is the only safety & security show in Dubai with the support of the local authorities, a broad profile, and both a large commercial security and a fire & rescue segment.

INTERSEC Expo is held annually in Dubai, UAE. The last edition in January 2015 featured 1,237 exhibitors and welcomed more than 25,000 visitors from 131 countries which made it one of the largest and most international trade fair for security & safety in the world. With the U.S. pavilions completely sold out, INTERSEC 2015 showcased around 73 U.S. Exhibitors both in and outside the U.S. Pavilions. The pavilions were run in partnership with Messe Frankfurt’s U.S. office and supported by Commercial Specialists from India and the UAE who worked together to provide counseling services and other logistical assistance to the U.S. Exhibitors. There will be two US Pavilions: the first pavilion will be focused on commercial security and the second pavilion will focus on fire and rescue capabilities .

INTERSEC’s product categories are: Commercial Security & Information Security – including access control, alarms, CC, identification systems, monitors, hardware and software for data and system security; Homeland Security & Policing – which includes police equipment, fencing and barriers, uniforms, biometrics, radar equipment; Fire & Rescue – including fire protection, fire safety equipment & service, and rescue vehicles; and, Safety & Health – personal protection equipment and workplace safety equipment.

The accompanying conference and technical program includes an IOSH Middle East Occupational Health Seminar (Health & Safety), the Techtextil Middle East Symposium (Technical Textiles for Safety & Protection), the Safety Design in Building Conference (Safety and Practices in the Building Environment), the Mobile Phone Crime Conference (Protecting Info on Mobile Phones), an International Water Mist Association Seminar (Fire Fighting and Water Mist), and other industry-specific events, including the outdoor demo area will a feature the 6th UAE International FireFit Championships.
