IPM Dubai 2014 – International Trade Fair for Plants & WOP 2014 – World of Perishables Dubai

The International Plants Expo Middle East (IPM Dubai) is the region’s only international horticultural trade show. The event spans the horticultural industry from plants to greenhouses, technology, floriculture, garden features, nursery growers, industry suppliers, landscape designers, architects, and contractors. IPM Dubai brings together professionals from the plant and flower industry to maximise business growth and stay current on market trends and technology.

World of Perishables (WOP) Dubai, which is held in conjunction with IPM Dubai, is the region’s only dedicated trade fair for fruits and vegetables. WOP Dubai addresses product safety, engineering equipment, logistics, and services for temperature-sensitive goods. Over 6,700 visitors from 94 countries attended last year’s events, an increase of 26% from 2013.

Business opportunities and investments are plentiful for visitors. With economic growth, a booming tourism industry, and future large-scale events, such as World Expo 2020 and the 2022 FIFA World Cup, the Middle East will be one of the fastest growing international markets for the horticultural, flowers, and plants industry. In 2014, green project investments in the region totalled more than 10 billion USD, with the Dubai government supporting initiatives to lower carbon dioxide emissions.

IPM Dubai and WOP Dubai are supported by Dubai Municipality and Dubai Airports.
