Germany is the second largest producer of jewellery in Europe. With almost 550 manufacturers, the German jewellery and silverware industry is dominated by small and medium-sized enterprises. The center of the German jewellery industry is located in Pforzheim on the edge of the Black Forest where nearly 70% of German jewellery is produced.
