According to IBISWorld, the relatively young Marine Services industry in China has developed strongly along with China’s booming marine economy. In the five years to 2015, industry revenue is expected to increase at an average annualized rate of 11.1%. Industry revenue is expected to total $347.7 million in 2015, up 9.6% from 2014.
The Marine Services industry in China comprises establishments that provide a wide range of specialized marine and offshore services, including marine management, marine evaluation, marine and polar expeditions, marine weather forecasting, marine pollution control and other marine services. Marine scientific research is not included in this industry.
