Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany!

The MDA, Industrial Automation & Surface Technology North America are an exclusive forum for Mechanical Transmission Equipment’s, Fluid Power and Automation Technology in the United States of America and the neighbouring states as Canada. They are the essential showcase for power transmission engineering, fluid power, motion control as well as automation technology, electrical engineering, the enabling technologies for smart manufacturing.

This year the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) in cooperation with the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) support the German group participation for the second time. With 46 participating companies in the German Pavilion the number of exhibitors has tripled compared to 2014. This is only one indicator for the high significance of the North American market and the growing strategic importance especially for German SMEs in the context of the digitization of the industry. ZVEI – the German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association – as the initiating association for the German joint stand accompanies the German delegation to provide professional advice for the respective economic branches.

On behalf of all exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the supporting associations wish all participants a successful show and extend a warm welcome to all visitors of the German Pavilion in the lakeside center / east building, stand E-5954 and E-4542.
