METAL + METALLURGY CHINA 2016
Welcome to the Presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The growth in production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals as well as castings in China is particularly impressive. Trade fairs as market places reflect and stimulate the economic situation of the sectors in question. This can clearly be seen in the constant development of Metal & Metallurgy China since the early nineties making it the leading exhibition of this kind throughout Asia.
The friendly relationship between Germany and People’s Republic of China has a long tradition. This comprises personal as well as business relationships.
The German manufacturers of metallurgical plants and rolling mills, foundry machinery and thermo processing equipment deliver into numerous buyer industries such as steel and non-ferrous metal works, ferrous and non-ferrous metal foundries, automotive industry, mechanical engineering, etc of the People’s Republic of China. These groups of manufacturers – known throughout the world as competent and reliable trading and cooperation partners – have established themselves successfully in the process of globalisation. This took place over a number of years and has proven their competitiveness. The companies of these industries offer all kinds of components and individual machines as well as complete turn-key solutions including sophisticated electronics and automation systems. These German industrial sectors generated world-wide export sales of EUR 2.600 million in 2014.
From the German capital goods manufacturers’ point of view, the People’s Republic of China is still one of the major markets world-wide. As far as metallurgical equipment is concerned, the leading position of Germany in providing and supplying machines, equipment, plants and technology to People’s Republic of China’s enterprises remains unchallenged. With an export volume of EUR 470 million in 2015 Germany is a leading supplier on this sector to People’s Republic of China.
Within the scope of official German participation, a total of 19 German companies will take part in the Metal & Metallurgy China 2016 presenting their latest technical developments to the Chinese specialists. This year’s participation in terms of the number of participating companies and area booked underlines the importance of the Chinese market to the German capital goods industry.
On behalf of all German exhibitors, the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA) and the VDMA (German Engineering Federation) cordially invite you to visit the official German presentation at METAL & METALLURGY CHINA 2016.
