Welcome to the official German presentation at SEA JAPAN 2016!

For the 11th time, the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy is supporting a German group at SEA JAPAN. A record participation of 19 German companies is displaying their latest technologies and offering their renowned services to key players and decision makers at SEA JAPAN 2016. The German Engineering Federation (VDMA) – Section Marine Equipment and Systems, as one of the initiating associations for the German joint stand is accompanying the German delegation and providing professional advice.

Like Japan, Germany is a leading maritime nation: Germany is one of the top shipowning nations, the most important shipbuilder in Europe and the largest exporter of high-tech marine equipment world-wide.

The maritime branches of the German shipbuilding and marine equipment industries comprise more than 40 shipyards and 400 equipment manufacturers. The special characteristic of German marine industries lies upon its capability to offer made-to-measure solutions at the highest technical standards.
