Seatrade Cruise Global 2016
Welcome to the German Pavilion at Seatrade Cruise Global 2016!
The Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry, the Marine and Offshore Equipment Industries and the German Shipbuilding and Ocean Industries Association take great pleasure in welcoming you on behalf of the German exhibitors to the official German presentation at “Seatrade Cruise Global 2016”. The cruise industry is continuing on its growth path – Cruise regions and destinations in Northern Europe enjoy great popularity and global prospects are bright – and the German shipbuilding industry continues to be the reliable and innovative partner of the cruise business in the region and worldwide.
Quality, top-class engineering, reliability and absolute adherence to delivery dates are the most important characteristics of the German shipbuilding industry. German shipyards enjoy an excellent reputation for building top-class cruise ships, ferries and other highly specialized vessels. In particular, German yards are renowned for their complex and spectacular cruise ship conversions and extensions. Furthermore, as a growing segment of the passenger ship market, the construction of spectacular mega yachts shows the excellence, the great competence, and the technological leadership of German shipyards and the marine equipment and supply industry.
By tackling those challenging ship types, the yards are able to demonstrate their technological competence and their excellent cooperation with their partners from the German marine equipment industry.
The German equipment industry offers the full range of systems and equipment components required for building sophisticated and innovative cruise liners, ferries with hotel standards, as well as outstanding premium yachts. The German maritime supply industry offers a wide array of products, from efficient propulsion units to control instruments, electronic equipment, navigation instruments, deck machinery, propellers, pumps and valves up to interior outfitting for cabins, restaurants, lounges/public rooms and all types of equipment for environmental protection purposes.
Please feel free to visit nearly 20 exhibitors at the German Pavilion, booth 2529, for further information.
