Welcome to the German Pavilion at WorldFood / AgroWorld Kazakhstan 2015!
As in the previous years an official German Pavilion is set up at WorldFoodTech Kazakhstan 2015 in Almaty, where German exhibitors are presenting their range of delivery and service solutions for the food processing and packaging industry, as well as current trends.
For the German manufacturers of food processing and packaging machinery Kazakhstan is an important market in Central Asia. As demand for higher-value products increases, so too does the need for state-of-the-art food processing and packaging machinery. The domestic production of food processing and packaging equipment is very small so the major demand can only be satisfied by imports.
In 2014, the imports of food processing and packaging equipment reached a value of 156 million Euros. Since years Germany is Kazakhstan’s most important trading partner for food processing and packaging machinery. With an export volume of 43 million Euros in 2014 Germany has a market share of 28 percent.
The German manufacturers of food processing and packaging machinery offer themselves as powerful partners for the development and expansion of Kazakhstan’s food industry.
