Licensing Dubai, now in its 8th year, is the region’s only brand licensing marketplace featuring a vast collection of properties and brands. Buyers and retailers will have unparalleled access to licensees and retailers from the MENA region. Last year’s event welcomed 130 Exhibitors from over 55 countries with Japan, Korea, Malaysia, and Morocco hosting national pavilions.
Licensing Dubai is held in conjunction with the Dubai World Game Expo (DWGE), the largest event for video games and the digital entertainment industry in the MENA region. DWGE introduces a wide variety of video, mobile, and online games; edutainment and infotainment software and hardware as well as next-generation platforms to leading video game companies, investors, media organisations, government officials, and industry analysts. The event will also host the Dubai World Game Summit, an educational centre for game professionals and enthusiasts in the MENA region.
Licensing Dubai and DWGE are part of the Big Entertainment Show, the region’s largest comprehensive entertainment content festival. Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, The Big Entertainment Show provides a networking platform for global and regional industry players to explore business opportunities in TV, Film, Video Games, Interactive Entertainment, Animation, Mobile, Creative Art and Design, Digital Content, Toys, Music and Brand Licensing.
