Welcome to the presentation of the Federal Republic of Germany at KIOGE – International Oil & Gas Exhibition 2015 in Almaty. For the Federal Republic of Germany, economic cooperation with other countries and people is important, and is the reason for Germany’s participation in this event.
The prosperous oil and gas sector plays a key role in the economy of Kazakhstan. The ambitious plans to raise the country’s oil and gas production, to modernise its facilities and to expand its petrochemical industry has attracted large domestic and foreign investments to the sector. Therefore German companies make use of the KIOGE as a shop window for the oil and gas industry in the Central Asian region. While taking into account environmental aspects they offer a wide range of highly sophisticated technology and products, e.g. exploration technology, oil conveyance, on-shore and drilling technology.
