Think Science a platform geared towards the youth of the UAE between the ages of 15 and 24. The programme pioneered by The Emirates Foundation is designed to help develop knowledge and learning in the field of science and technology. The initiative aims to motivate and inspire the UAE youth to pursue their curiosity and passion and to think about solutions to real-world problems.
The Think Science Fair is an annual event under the patronage of H.H Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister and Chairman of the Emirates Foundation. The event will run from May 5th-7th at Dubai World Trade Centre and is expected to host more than 550 participants and 8,500 young visitors from across the UAE.
Think Science is made up of 3 core projects, the first being a competition that engages teenagers and young adults to develop, design and build science-based innovations that respond to society’s most pressing needs. The second is called the Think Science Ambassadors which highlights the change-makers that inspire, encourage and nurture the scientific work of the UAE’s young minds. The third segment is called Think Science Connect, a platform that links those interested in science, with young industry Ambassadors and scientific leaders from 38 partner organisations, in an interactive and engaging environment.
